Prize Information:

Harvey Art Society Trophy will be awarded to Best Exhibit from classes 1 – 10.
Prize money donated by Harvey Art Society – Junior Section

Hobson’s Trophy will be awarded to the competitor gaining the Most Points in Classes 1-10.

Notes:

Exhibits should be delivered to Recreation Centre Friday, April 5, between 9.00 am and 12 noon
and collected Saturday April 6, between 4.00 pm and 4.30 pm.

EXHIBITORS ARE ASKED TO NOTE CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING RULES:
1. No more than two entries may be submitted by a competitor in any one class.
2. Maximum size of entries to be 1200mm x 600mm (All classes 1-10). All pictures shall be marked on
the back with the name of the artist and the address, title and section in which entered.
3. No responsibility will be taken for loss or damage.
4. The committee reserves the right to refuse any entry.
5. All work must be original. Completed I the last two years not previously exhibited in Harvey Show.
Not copied in full or part from any production or published article.
6. Entries for open section must be framed suitable for hanging. Junior section to be framed suitable
for blue-tac adhesive. Owners of exhibits may sell their works with 10 per cent commission to be
paid to the Society.
7. Acrylic may be entered in Class 1 or 2.

SPECIAL SECTION
Class 11
SHELL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETIES ART AWARD
The aim of this award is to promote a knowledge of agriculture, rural areas and activities and to ensure that
paintings of a rural nature are available for public viewing and purchase at the Perth Royal show.
Entries may be submitted through any RAS – affiliated Agricultural Society or member/similar organisation for
initial judging in the preliminary heats which will be conducted between August 1, 2010, and July 31, 2011. The
winning entry from each RAS affiliated organisation will be nominated by that organisation for the final judging
at the 2011 Perth Royal Show.
The Award will be made solely at the discretion of a panel of judges appointed by the RAS.
